How it started VS How it's going

I know it’s too late to say this, but better late than never….Happy new year 2022 !!

It's been a while I've written and you've read…

So here's an article today to share my journey from 2020 until now.

I haven't been socially active on my blog and Instagram due to my recent job at SpiceHealth as a Scientific officer. The past one month has been unexpected and truly wonderful. I've never been more content in life. From being happiest at a personal level to being satisfied at a professional, I'm glowing and growing.

How it began in 2020 :

I had plans in my mind when 2020 began and I was working hard to achieve them; but COVID 19 had plans different from us all and everything turned upside down. I didn't intend to work after my post graduation as I was interested in pursuing research, but there was no funding with the universities and government to support my research project. Disappointed with the outcomes, I decided to work on COVID 19 and fortunately got a job as a Technical officer in molecular biology and infectious diseases. As time passed by, my mental health began to deteriorate considering the politics of the corporate world in the Healthcare company I was a part of, looking at which I resigned. I believe that I deserved a job that brought the best in me and not the worst where I had to doubt my qualifications and settle for less.

Forever been that woman who didn't believe in settling for less. 2020 ended with positive vibes not only because I had excitement for 2021, but also as last year had changed me completely as a person.

How it's going through 2022 :

Honestly speaking, I haven't been happier. I cut off toxic people from my life, let go of the unwanted attachments that were once reasons behind my depression and fell in love with new beginnings & amazing people I can't wait to spend my life with. At this point in life, I cannot afford and don't want to risk my time and love for the ones who never deserved it. The job I had, the people that were a part of my life, I let them all go. Falling in love with the updated version of me who knows her worth no matter what comes through the day, I live it and end the day with peace, love & satisfaction. Forever and always going to be the woman I am now.

Moral :

Whenever things seem to be going in the wrong direction, or you feel that something is wrong, make sure you look back and notice how far you've come and change your path if you think it will change your life in a better way. It's never too late for anything. It's your life, you can make a number of changes you wish to, irrespective of the opinions of people that don't matter enough. Because it's you who have to live your life, you who have to be with yourself and you who have to be happy.

Every woman (& every man ofc) experiences different stages of life that change us as a person, it's upon us to decide if we allow them to change us for the better or worse.

It's best in our favor if we focus on being the best, not settle for less & stay determined to achieve our goals.

I've been that way since 2020 and I intend to be the same for the rest of my life with the people who I look forward to making part of my life. Unbothered, moisturized, focused, blessed, satisfied, glowing & growing happily in my lane.

Wishing you all women a Happy women's day. May your life be as good as you want it to be & make it.
